All platforms with Firefox: Globex Designs, makers of the popular Gmail Redesigned skin, have released a standalone Firefox extension which applies the style without Stylish (or Better Gmail and/or Better GCal). Download the extension to completely redesign your Gmail and Google Calendar with the latest and greatest style from Globex. Here's what the skin looks like.

Here's what Gmail looks like wearing the Redesigned skin:

Google

And Google Calendar:

Since Globex will be maintaining this extension themselves, use it instead of Better Gmail or Better GCal to apply the style—it will be the most up-to-date way to get fixes and upgrades to the skin. Make sure you de-select the Redesigned skin in Better Gmail and Better GCal and in Stylish to use the official Globex extension. Google Redesigned is a free download for all platforms running Firefox.

A man who chose "Lloyds is pants" as his telephone banking password said he found it had been changed by a member of staff to "no it's not".

Steve Jetley, from Shrewsbury, said he chose the password after falling out with Lloyds TSB over insurance that came free with an account.

He said he was then banned from changing it back or to another password of "Barclays is better".

The bank apologised and said the staff member no longer worked there.

The Jelly Click takes mouse portability to the extreme. All the electronic circuity lives on a small flexible board. The body itself is just soft plastic. Whenever you need a mouse, blow up the Jelly Click, attach the USB cable and you’re good to go. As a bonus, it’s a total floaty for you swimming challenged people.

We recently informed you of the oh-so-awesome E-Paper Slap Bracelet, but now we also feel obligated to show you the P-Per. Don’t get me wrong, I like my iPhone, plenty, but the P-Per video (below) offers promises of pure awesome. This is a concept mobile device by the people over at Chocolate Design Agency. It employs the same multi-function E-Paper technology used in their bracelet; what’s more, it is also eco-friendly. Its design is efficient - it uses their energy-saving e-paper (which won them the red dot design award), only four layers of sustainable materials, and an Organic Radical battery. So, if you’re green, then you should probably see a doctor, but if you love the environment and mobile devices, then this cell phone looks to be your next communication device of choice.
